At present, a Low-Pressure Area persists over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh and gradually it will weaken. The Axis of Monsoon Trough is extending from Northwest Rajasthan to Nagaland across Low-Pressure Area, South Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Bangladesh. A Cyclonic Circulation is over West-central Bay of Bengal off South Odisha and North Andhra coast. An off-shore Trough from this Circulation is extending up to the Tamil Nadu coast. A feeble Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan.
Weather Activity during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy spells occurred over the South Andhra coast and parts of Rayalaseema and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells was seen over Konkan and Goa, parts of Tamil Nadu, and East Bihar. Light to moderate rains was seen over Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, parts of North-west and Central Uttar Pradesh, Northeastern states, Kerala, and Coastal Karnataka. Gujarat and Rajasthan witnessed almost dyr weather conditions and scattered light rains occurred over rest parts of the country.

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining West and Northwest Bihar and also over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of Northwest Madhya Pradesh. Scattered light to moderate rains can be seen over rest Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Rayalaseema, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and parts of Assam. Weather will be dry over West Rajasthan, Kutch, western parts of Punjab and Haryana with scattered light rains over rest parts of the country.
